Ok so im typing this after a morning of pain.

The day before yesterday, I was reading about some guy who broke his gfx card by overtightening his arctic cooler, when a single popup appeared and installed all manner of unsolicited ****e. (I didnt click the popup btw, it did it all completely itself)

I ran TUT, AdAware SE and Spybot S&D a few times each, and seem to have gotten rid of most of it. However there is vx2, a partic nasty malware that wont go away. The vx2 cleaner for AASE doesnt want to know, and most of the time doesnt even detect it even though the main scan does.

Anyway so I turn on the computer this morning, and after logging on to my account get an error message before the desktop appears:

'Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged on as the default profile for the system

DETAIL-A required priviledge is not held by the client'

30 secs later, the computer restarts. Try to log on, same again. However my sisters login works pretty much fine, apart from the odd popup. So the first thing i did was to create myself a new login, which worked for a while, but now does the same thing, but without the error message: it just restarts.

Now theres alot of stuff on my login, and id rather not have to reinstall windows. So anyone?
