Yeah, posting a line of a path doesnt help us much. Can you please describe what actually crashes (assuming not the whoel pc as you are getting some sort of error) ie. applications/gfx freeze-ups etc. Also explain in what circumstances it crashes and what your hardware configuration is.
Apccompat files are the text files that can be sent to MS when your system crashes (like when you close a non-respondant program, it asks you if you wish to send MS an error log). You can turn of this option of notification by going START>RUN>'msconfig' click the 'services' tab and then untick 'error reporting service'. Click apply/OK and do a re-boot. However, this wont solve the problem, but will take some of the annoyance out of it.
