On the Pinnacle site FAQ is the solition, you have to rename a file in the register.

"Access violation at adress 00000000. Read of address 00000000."

This error occurs on Windows XP systems with service pack 2 (SP2) installed.

To solve this problem, which is caused by the skin component, please follow the steps below:
1. click on "Start"
2. "run..."
3. enter "regedit"
4. browse to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VOB\CDRAPP\Paths” 5. rightclick on "SkinFile" in the right window
6. select "rename" and change the name of the SkinFile entry

And after restart your computer it is oké.

Further I do not know in what I have to change the name of the skinfile.

Is that the only error message you are getting? Also what are you doing when you get the error message?

Yes, this is the only error I get. When I get this error I will turn of the application and afterwards I will restart it and I will take another option of the program instant CD/DVD. Advanced projects to burn a film with the dvd-files to a dvd. (the problem that I get when I burn like that is that the sound-channels get changed)

Are you saying that you could not find the registry string? How far did you get? Do you have Administrative privileges?

I did find the registry string, and I did find the skinfile, but I did not know what to do next.

Rename it anything e.g. XSkinFile
