I have system restore enabled but I can run the program, can anybody help me to get the program running again.

I assume that you mean system restore won't work. Have you tried restoring your pc to a previously made restore point? Sometimes spyware and viruses can prevent system restore from working. Why were you trying to restore?

Stop System Restore (which deletes all restore points) Start System Restore.

Yes I am trying to a previously restore point. I have ran 3 spyware and viruses programs and no viruses where found. The problem occurred after a failed attempt to download a free program to download music

I have tyred to restore my computer to a previous restore point in safe mode and this would not work.

Yes I have turned system restore off and then on again without success.
