    Unhappy Microsoft Windows error!

My comp is really messed up now. it's not just spyware or anyting, it can operate. sry for posting so many thread. sry okay so my problem is that my internet was slow for some reason. so i cleaned my comp thinking it was just spyware. once I did that I though I needed a virus scan. so i downloaded avast. then I accidently deleted something. the awful thing is that i don't even remember what i deleted. what makes it worse is that this happened a weeka go. I should have posted it up sooner but my comp wasnt working cuz it kept on restarting until I disabled it. i tried many system restore and I also tried last good configuration many times. I even tried disk defragmenter. when I dont get on, it gives me this message

    Microsoft Windows

This system has recovered from a serious error

A log of this error has been created

and then all that don't send; send stuff. then sometimes the comp restarts and gives me the blue screen saying

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    and the Technical Information is:
    *** Stop:0x0000000A (0x0B000994, 0x00000002, 0x60000000, 0x80533281)

I dunno if this helps or not but plz if you can help me.

and if my hijack log even helps here it is:

With all of your issues I would suggest Repair Installing XP.

If your XP CD is a retail version from Microsoft this is a good guide:

    http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

If your XP is OEM (preinstalled) check your manufacturer's manual for Recovering the Operating System.

A repair install from a Microsoft disk will not delete any data.

A non-destructive recovery from an OEM disk will not delete any data.

What CD do you have? Microsoft? Dell? HP? IBM? etc. ???

You will definitly need your Product Key in any case.

With the diversity of your issues I would suggest reinstalling XP.

To try other options we need to know:

Is this a retail version of XP or was XP pre-installed on this computer?

If the latter what is the exact make & model?

HijackThis logs are only read in the HijackThis section:

This guide covers all of the issues in a repair install:

    http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

    It is actually quite simple.

There are always other ways but from reading the history of your issues if it were I: I'd reinstall.

You could try to run sfc /scannow first from start/run

    Also check disk:

    start > run > cmd
in the new window type chkdsk/f
when prompted to run on boot choose Y & reboot
this will check for & fix any disk errors.

Chkdsk is a command-line tool that checks volumes for problems. The tool then tries to repair any that it finds. For example, Chkdsk can repair problems related to bad sectors, lost clusters, cross-linked files, and directory errors.

    http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=winxp

System File Checker sfc /scannow checks for damaged or replaced system files, and then prompts you to replace any files that do not match the original Windows XP files.
(You need a retail version Microsoft XP CD in order to do this).

I've run the Repair Install many many times with no problems or lost data.
All the warnings in this link should be heeded if your data is a matter of life or death.
Otherwise with just a minor risk running a Repair Install is as simple as booting your XP CD & following a few prompts. 45 minutes later you have a fresh system.

    http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

You will have to reapply SP2 and all subsequent Critical Updates. Or you can also create an XP SP2 disk (if yours' is not) by slipstreaming as outlined in the above link.

And thanks for the thanks and all.
