i'm rather new to computers,and i'm having probs with java.
i can't log in to some web sites.[man.utd.com]is one site i can't get into,also i've been unable to play java games.i've opened up >tools>internet options>advanced<and everything is ticked,
java[sun]
use JRE 1.5.0_04 for <applet> ticked
microsoft VM ticked
java console enabled ticked
java logging enabled

JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled ticked

i'm running windows xp sp2 with 256mb ram,80 gig hd,using internet explorer,also using norton 05 full package.

hope someone can help,and please forgive if the information supplied is not relavent,if anyone needs any more info,pls ask and i will try to find out.

There is an update to your version. Worth a try to see if it gets the bugs out.
