Hi guys, I have been looking everywere for sulotions to my problmes and you guys are the best so here gos.
I have a New Dell i just baught a few months ago, with it i got Norton Internet Security, Norton AntiVirus, Norton Security Center and all that other crap, any way at this moment i have the stupid Trogan.Vundo virus and i cant get rid of it. i did all the stuff norton tells you to. to get rid of it, and iv done it before. but NOW after i do the scan with the fixtool and all that, it tells me that Norton dosnot have the "norton antivirus 2005 does not support repair feature. please reinstall", ok so thats grate, here is the problem, i got Norton WITH my comp, and a one year subscription to renew, with i am going to in Jan. i can exactly delete it and reinstall, becaus i have no CD. i dont know hwat to do, every time i log onto windows my Norton pops up in my system try like it should, and then a "installing Norton" box pops up, and says it cant be found, and i may need to reinstall. another problem is i cant go to the quorenteened files area, it tells me "Errer creating quartined object, may have to reinstall norton" PLASE HELP ASAP!!! THANK YOU!!!

have you tried turning off system restore to clear all restore points run norton in safemode

you could always ditch Norton (it's a resource hogger) and go for one of the free AV and firewalls

ya i did the disable system resor, and ya i hate NORTON but i just want to feel safe and get rid of this damn virus. waht should i do my comp is in your hands!!!

another thing is i know what file is infected, but i cant delete it, its a dll, and says that a person or program is running it. its C:\WINDOWS\system32\pmkjk.dll

ok well im downloading all the difrent protection crap, but i canot get rid of this FREEKEN virus alert, i hit ok and it just pops up. and it says it cant repair or quarantine trojan.vundo, and that is kinda making me nervous!!! what should i do! i just want to get rid of the damn thing. N/E thing else i can do maby???? thanks!!!!!!
