please please please help

    Unhappy please please please help

    could someone please give me advice as after running a ram diagnostic through snapspy<<<i think thats what it was called through packard bell support my system won't start. it goes through the stages the bios screen then the boot screen then nothing all it makes my screen go off and on then say i have no signal i have even tryed swapping my graphics card back to my onboard card but still nothing do you think reformating my pc would help but i cant do this as packard bell dont give you a boot disc as xp is pre installed on your pc p.s my processor does sound as if it is trying to do somthing

    You could try Last Known Good Configuration from the Safe Boot menu. (repeatedly tap F8 after the BIOS POST)

    Otherwise repairing XP is probably necessary.

    Packard Bell should have supplied recovery disks. No?

    The process should be in the manual.

    It is probably online as well if you know the exact model #.

    cheers jephree i did figure that out yesterday but not after i called a support line that kept me on for 15min @ £1.50 a min the guy couldnt help me i did suggest that when he put me on safe mode but he said it wouldnt work but it did (last time i call them) i wish i had got your message b4 i called them but thanx.
