Question Packard Bell Easy One Silver

I have a Packard Bell Easy One Silver laptop. I have recently had to remaster the hard drive. I now find that after about half an hour the mousepad and keyboard completely freeze. The laptop keeps working but the keyboard and mouse doesn't. If I re-boot it they will only work for about 15 mins. HELP!!!

What was wrong with the hard drive?

Sounds like perhaps a heat issue.

What is the exact model? There might be help from PB but they need the precise model:

Also: look in your Event viewer: rt. click My Computer then click Manage then Event Viewer.
Or: Administrative Tools/Event Viewer or Start/Run/ eventvwr
Open the system as well as the application tabs & look for X errors. Click error line for details.
Post back the source & event id especially of errors that seem to coincide with a crash.

    Thanks for your reply

It is an Easy One Silver 3102, if it turns out to be a heat issue is there anything I can do about it??

I formatted the hard drive because I just kept getting the blue screen saying that the pc would not start and there were errors. I'm not a computer whizz, and I thought it would help clear all the rubbish off.

Did you use a Pacard Bell restore disk? Was it a full (factory reset) reinstallation?

Did you have these problems previously? How old is this laptop?

Did you look at your Event Viewer?

It wouldn't hurt to run check disk:

    start > run > cmd
in the new window type chkdsk/f
when prompted to run on boot choose Y & reboot
this will check for & fix any disk errors.
