I am looking for my drivers for my Audio, (in Lamens terms i need the little volume control in my system tray) im have all my SYSTEM info but i dont know what info i need to find my drivers! can you help?

If you have sound and are just missing the icon in the system tray, go to start/control panel/sounds and audio controllers. In volume you will find a tick box to place the volume control in the task bar. Tick it, click apply and it should appear in the system tray.
NO i am missing the drivers for my sound card i belive i was missing the drivers for my graphic card to but i got help from you guys to find it and its fixed now.

A friend of mine just gave me a computer taht he had that wasent working, so i fixed it and installed windows xp, but xp dosent recognize my audio or video cards, but i already got help from someone here with my VIDEO card, now i need help finding my audio card! My friend have me this computer with no software.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH Owen that wasent EXACTLY what i was looking for, but it actuly ended up being sumthing i realy needed, i still am not able to change, or use the volume controles on my computer. i went into my control panal and it still says that my drivers are not installed. SORRY to keep buging you.
I just posted a reply about an hour ago... for some reason it didn't send.
I believed the attached file contains the correct drivers. Download it to a convenient location, right click it and select Extract All... Follow the extraction wizard and open the output folder. Right click the file oem34 and click Install. This should be a silent process which means you won't receive any confirmations or prompts. If you do receive confirmations agree to them. You will not be told when the drivers have been installed, so give it 5 minutes and then restart your PC. Report back on how it went
