    Angry PC Locks up

Right here we go: bought a new PC installed windows Xp, firewall, virus etc, installed World of Warcraft and Star wars Galxies.

    Problem 1:

Without fail when trying to download latest patches for WOW the PC will freeze, no cntrl alt del, nothing in the event viewer and no .dmp files

    Problem 2:

Crashed when playing galaxies same symptoms as WOW

    Problem 3:

Seems to crash while just working on PC as well.

Have virus, adware scanned etc, cant see anything from the event viewer, and the fan is blowing air inside the PC.

Can anyone help me as i am about to return to the shop and leather the poor guy who sold me the PC, specs are:

    Asus K8u-x Socket 754 motherboard
    AMD Semperon 3000 processor
    1024MB DDR 400 ram (2 x 512)
    Maxtor 80GB SATA drive
    ASUS gf6200 256mb graphics (ONBOARD)
    Asus 16X DVD writer

Did you install the SATA drivers during the install of XP?

also 256 MB of your 1024 MB is going to your graphics leaving you only 768 MB, but the SATA drivers are asked for during install

All sorted now i did take it back to the shop and refraind from leathering the guy with it he pulled out the network card and it worked fine, seems a faulty card was to blame???? also the graphics card isn't onboard as the guy installed a new one i pointed out what had been said. and quoted the sale of goods act.

    Thanks for your help.
