I have no sound coming from my pc, my speakers are fine and media players seem ok, when i try to play a track it gives me an error msg! Is this a sound driver and if so will i need to download a new one?

What operating system and can you give the exact error message?

Thanks im running win XP, im not sure how ive done it but sound now working jus very distorted?

You probably need to download everest from my signature and check what sound card you have then update your drivers.
