I have recently purchased a toshiba lap top. I am unable to access my fave chat rooms because I install Java and nothing happens. I just get java constantly loading. I am trying to access Wanadoo chat.
I hope someone can help.

I posted the other day about not been able to enter chat rooms on my new computer.
The chat room I am trying to enter is Wanadoo. I can log in with my user name and password, but then all I get is java loading and it never get it in. Can anyone help please.

Hi I have downloaded Jave for the umpteenth time. I have check my settings and appear not to have Microsoft VM with the boxes that follow eg Java console enable Java logging enable JIT compiler for virtual machine enable.
Can you be of any help Please.

What exactly happens when you try to access Wanadoo chat? Do you get the coffee cup & spinning ring etc.?

Any error message? Is there any Wanadoo site that might offer applets or plug-ins?

Hi still no luck. I can log on to wanadoo with my user name and password as soon as I try to enter a room I get the java sign spinning and loading but it never stops. The coffee cup icon is in the lower right hand side of the screen I really don't understand it I can access other chat rooms that run on java.

I have tried setting up another and have been accepted. However, I am still experiencing the same thing with java loading. Its a mystery because I can get into other rooms that use jave.
I hope someone can help sort this its driving me mad!!

Are you running a firewall? If so: which? Zone Alarm? Do you have SP2? If so: is that wall on or off? Have you tried another browser other than IE?

I am seeing similar issues with little results. The above questions stem from that search.

Sorry that I can't find a quick fix but we can keep trying
