Do you mean you need to reinstall the drivers or the physical card?

What is the make & model of the computer? The manufacturer should have drivers on their site.

Also you might try the Device Manager: Start/Run/ devmgmt.msc

Right click the S3 ProSavage and choose Update Drivers.

    Did you remove the card?

Can you please add more details?

If you did not remove it what is the source of the problem? What exactly is happening?

I believe S3 ProSavage is strictly an on-board chip but am not certain.

You saw the S3 ProSavage in the Device Manager? Do you see it listed under Start/Run/ dxdiag | Display?

What is the make & model of the computer?

    Try this scan:

Post back what is listed under these headers:

    Main Circuit Board

Do you know the exact Presario #? Usually a 4 digit #. Sorry the scan did not pick it up. Anyway if you use it on the Compaq site you should find the audio driver.
Compaq is the best source for this driver. However if you are unable to locate it there I've listed some alternatives.

    Compaq:

This is an alternative site for ProSavageDDR:

    Compaq lists no graphics drivers

This one is as close as i can find at the moment:

    http://ranger.s3graphics.com/xplib/420xpdrv/

Restart the computer in Safe Mode (repeatedly press F8 after Logo or BIOS screen: before XP loads).

Right click the ProSavage under Device Manager then click Properties | Driver | Uninstall

Then run this new driver install & reboot normally.

You mean errors in the Event Viewer?

Were they all the same day or many days?

Most systems create errors; many of which repeat at every boot etc.

If you are having other problems please explain in as much detail as possible.

Like what happened with your graphics that you need new drivers? Any idea?
