I just was hammered by a few trojan's and McAfee caught them. It said they couldn't be cleaned so I deleted them. I'm now afraid to turn off my pc because I don't want to lose everything and my son said if the files I deleted were essential, I may not be able to log back on. When I was on another site a box came up that said :
C:\windows\system32\pcpbios.exe
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt
not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications choose close to terminate the application.

What do I do now? Are these files deleted or not? Needed or not?

I'm sorry to sound so dumb, but I have tons of my childrens pictures and other things I simply cannot loose as they are all irreplacable.
