every time i shut down my comp it starts 2 save settings and dont stop it gos on for ever intill i force it with the restart switch

any ideas cuz i ent got a clue

Found this idea:

It's a user profile that fails to unload on shutdown. When I had this same problem, I used to keep Ctrl pressed down at shutdown. Until I found UPHClean on Microsoft's site, which solved the problem.
