Hi
I have obviously done something stupid whilst downloading
drivers for a non functioning webcam and now all sounds from
my speakers have an extremely annoying delay/echo type sound
which make them almost unlistenable
can anyone suggest a remedy ?

I would start by re-installing your sound card drivers. What make/model PC do you have ?

sorry for not replying sooner...was away

10 out of 10 for D-A-L...sorry I do not know your name...I went to update drivers in the details section in control panel...guess what...no more echo
