    graphics problems

a few days ago my pc crashed ( somthing to do with ati hardware lockup ) and i had to reset it,since then the icons of certain folders are . . well screwed up! ( see pictures below )

iv tried reinstalling graphics card drivers but to no avail and cant think of much else that relates to this problem, any ideas?

    cheers

    (ps pc running xp sp2
    3.2ghz
    ati 9200
    1gb of ram etc)

(also things like pictures and my actual background are fine, theres not a problem with them atall, its only things like my computer icon and the quick launch icons on the taskbar at the bottom ( if i replace the icons they are stil screwed up))

Two possible fixes if the problem recurs:

    1. Try deleting the IconCache.db file. Click Start/Run and type:

    %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\

Select the file named "IconCache.db" (hidden file) and delete it.

    Restart Windows.

    2. Consider downloading an installing Tweak UI from:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p.../powertoys.asp

    Under Repair try Rebuild Icons.
