hi, when i re-installed xp, it didnt install paint, is there any way i can download it?

i have tried inserting the xp disk and clicking install windows optinal components or something and paint wasnt there, i have also tried browsing the disk, i fount a file called paint but it wasnt a .exe or anything and i dont know how to extract it

any help would be great

(p.s sorry if it is in the wrong section, didnt know weather to put it in here or other software issues)

Try going Control Panel..>>Add Remove programs..>> ..>> Add Remove windows components..>> Accessories Utilities ..>>details..>> accessories..>> details. Paint should be there, see if it's checked.

thats what came up on the disk and it wasnt there
