    Angry Help!!!!!!!!!!!blue Screen

    Hi i keep on getting a blue screen,i turn pc on and its ok for a while then i get blue screen and error message "problem seems to be caused by following file vsdatant.sys can soneone help please?

    vsdatant.sys is a Zone Alarm file. Some ideas here:

    Turn off or uninstall zone alarm & see if the problem persists.

    right i uninstall zone alarm and no blue screen .....cant work this out as i have had zone alarm for months without any problems and would like to put it back on...any suggestions??

    Try to put it back on & see what happens. I would clean the registry first. Good tool here:

    Also do a search from start/search/zonealarm & delete all finds.


    You should only run one firewall. If you want ZA turn off the SP2 wall & AOL if it has one.

    Apparently something triggered that ZA fault. If it continues we can try further error tracing.

    hi i used that tool but wasnt sure what to delete?so i cleaned register with system mechanic 5,search results no zone alarm,just put zone alarm back on and guess what?yep "blue screen" with this errorBad_pool_Caller????what do you suggest now?

    Go to start | search (type in) .dmp
    Note the location of your latest .dmp file.

    Then:

    1) Download and install the
    Debugging Tools from Microsoft
    2) Download and install this
    debugwiz
    3) Open the Wiz & Browse to, or paste in the path to, your latest .dmp file.
    4) After the Wiz creates a Text document attach it back to this thread.
