Belarc indicates that you have on-board graphics @ 32mb.

To upgrade that you would need to buy a graphics card compatible with your motherboard.

Why your on-board chip is not being detected by dxdiag I do not know.

Are you indicating that it was detected before? Not sure what you mean by "before i reformat it..."
