Someone please help!!
I am running winxp pro my pc has been running slow for a while so i cleaned up my pc, defraged it then i was told to run a disk scan i have done this last night and left the pc running when i looked again 9 hours later it has only done 71% of the free disk space.
Does this mean my HD is no good.
any help would be much appreciated.

What tool exactly are you running?

Do you know the make of your hard drive?

Thanks for the reply jephree but my HD has died.
I turned my pc on and it started making a clicking noise then it asked me to insert a system disk!!
so it looks like ill be shopping this weekend.
