When I'm browsing on the internet the windows keep shutting themselves down. Not always but quite a lot. Is this browser hijacking? When I try to download the relevant software, the window always shuts. What can I do? My home page also keeps being changed and I also have a New Malware virus that Mcafee says it cannot clean. Is this all part of the same problem? Thanks

Try downloading and running SpyBot and Ad-aware then let us know, these will hopefully clean up the spyware/adware causing this.

Thanks for that. But I'd already used Adaware and it didn't really find anything of consequence - it suggested a few things to remove which I did but it hasn't helped. Also Spybot is one the the programs I can't seem to download as my browser always closes when I get near it! What can I do?

OK, this is just plain weird now. I finally managed to download spybot but the installation keeps terminating halfway through. Now the file has disappeared from the folder I downloaded it into. Upon trying to download it again, I was asked it I wanted to overwrite the file of the same name but there isn't one. Well I guess there is but it's been disappeared! What can I do to sort this whole thing out please?

Any ideas, anyone?!?!
