I run windows xP on my computer, and it worked fine until today when i started the computer up, and it starts loading Xp and then goes to the screen that said windows didnt start up properly and that a hardware of software change may have caused this. It gives me the option for safe mode, last known good setting, and start normally. No matter which i clock the computer restarts and brings me to the exact same screen, it doesnt matter which option, when windows attempts to boot up it simply restarts and goes to the same page. Any ideas? thanks in advance.

Boot your XP CD & from the Recovery Console first try CHKDSK.

If that doesn't help try FIXBOOT.
