in the power options properties\hibernate page my hibernate is dissabled
and when i try and reenable it it tells me "this process cannot access the file becouse it is being used by another process" but there is no hiberfil.sys on my computer

Boot into safe mode and from the command prompt:
> del/a:s hiberfil.sys
If that doesn't work go to start/run sfc /scannow
You will need your XP disk for this.
the first thing sed no file found and the second thing run the meter finished and the box disapeard still dont work
You must have the proper hardware to use hibernation. and i dont know about u but i cant aford more than 49,850 mb of ram
