After reinstalling XP Prof 2002 I received an error 0x80070002 License Checking Issues on my HP 7935. Microsoft tells me to go into the Registry and delete Cryptography\ Providers.

They are not in there.

I have also changed drive lettering back to originals as they instructed

Any suggestions?

Did you reinstall from the hard drive?

I reinstalled my Pavilion from a CD

So you upgraded to XP Pro from the original XP Home?

Was XP Pro working previously? You mentioned that you reinstalled?

Are you able to bypass this error & enter XP? Are there any other problems?
