Wondering if anyone can help........

My sound playback is very crackly and laggy....

Processor: Intel Celeron D 2.89ghz
Memory: 1024 DDR 400
GPU: Geforce 6600gt 128ddr3
Soundcard: Realtek AC,97 Audio

It was fine before, but since i have reformatted my computer the sound has been excessively unresponsive.
Was wondering if it could be corrupted drivers....

wen did you format and have you tried reinstalling drivers?

What is the make & model of the computer? Or is it custom built?

You probably need to reload the Realtek AC,97 Audio driver.

The best way to do this is to go to the manufacturer's web site & get the specific driver.
Either the computer manufacturer or if custom built the motherboard manufacturer.

Its a Novatech bundle.......so basically custom built, i have reloaded the drivers....with no success.....

When the sound crackles the drive slows down....

Why did you reformat?

What is the source of the drivers you are trying?

I reformatted because i had loads of malware and couldnt be bothered to remove it thats why

I installled my soundcard with the motherboard installation disk the same as i always do
