Can anybody help me sort out my Boot ini so that I can have my ata drive as a boot and my IDE as a slave. Every time I connect my IDE drive it always boots from there no matter what I try. Im not an expert by the way a user rather than an fixer!

is your IDE jumper set to slave on the drive?
and your ata jumper should be set to master with slave (or just master if there is no "master with slave" option also, in the BIOS, what does it say in "Boot sequence"?
