    Windows XP screen saver

    Hi
Can anyone tell me how I stop the windows XP screensaver from appearing. It comes on and overrides my own screensaver.

The basic setting is under Control Panel > Display > ScreenSaver

Does this not set your choice?

No that is my problem...I set my screensaver (not the win XP one) but after a while my nominated screensaver is replaced by the windows xp screensaver.....Once I click on the desktop the windows xp screensaver goes...If I leave the computer..my nominated screensaver starts up but then the same thing happens....I thought it must be a setting I have ticked or something like that ????

    Try this:

At the same place where you change the screen saver just uncheck the box that says
"On resume, password Protect....." its right next to where you decided how
long you wait till the screen saver kicks in.
