My 'run' program is missing from my tool bar - how do I get this back please?

right click on the start menu, click properties and in the start menu tab click "customise" you should find something like "show run in start menu" click enabe or check box whichever it is...... sorry if something is wrong, i am using a win 98 pc and i told you that info from what i remember of my own pc, i will confirm that when i get home tonight

oh sorry you said tool bar not start menu..... what exactly do you mean by "tool bar"?

i think he means start menu, unless he has run on his quick launch tool bar. . . . ?

Mike is correct please see screen shot below. After clicking Customize you will need to click Advanced and scroll down.

thats the 1 you dont click on the start menu, its the taskbar that you right-click on sorry
