Re: blue screens problams(after i cancaled the auto restart and the freezing)
make sure computer is OFF before you open it up
moniter the thing you are looking at when you read this post
please re-read jephrees instructions they can not be plainer than they are
-
how can i remove the agp card?and the monitor cable is big its cant plug to the vga port
-
the moniter cable will plug in to the vga port built in to either the graphics card or onto the motherboard (probably like the one you are using at the moment to read this post)
simply pull out the graphics card while pressing in the little retaining spring/button on the side of the card
-
is it good to the graphic card to be outside of the computer?
-
will not hurt the card as long as you are carefull with it dont be heavy handed with it
a good tip to stop you doing any static charge damage is to keep the power cord to the computer plugged in to the wall and in to the computer but defintly turned OFF at the wall so you wont get electrucuted but the earth cable in the power lead will protect the card from static
hope this helps
