computer keeps shutting down and recovering from serious error

My computer keeps shutting down and when it restarts it says it has recovered from a serious error. Here is the message I get.

    BCCode:1a BCP1: 0004128b BCP2:10001201 BCP3:10000000
    BCP4;C0503000 OSVer:5_1_2600 SP:2_0 Product:256_1
then when I hit details it says this

    c:\DOCUME~1\Jason\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERb592.dir00\Mini 080405-01.dmp
    c:\DOCUME~1\Jason\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERb592.dir00\sysd ata.xml

Anybody know how to fix this? It's driving me crazy

On the surface that is a RAM error.

Is this a new problem? Any new hardware/software/RAM?

Change this setting for clearer errors:
rt. click My Computer then click Properties then Advanced then Startup and Recovery Settings then unclick Automatically restart

    Then:
Go to start | search (type in) .dmp
Note the location of your latest .dmp file.

    Then:

    1) Download and install the
    Debugging Tools from Microsoft
    2) Download and install this
    debugwiz
    3) Open the Wiz & Browse to, or paste in the path to, your latest .dmp file.
    4) After the Wiz creates a Text document attach it back to this thread.

I have downloaded the wiz and searched for the .dmp files. I am not sure if I am doing the wiz program right. It is not creating a text document. It opens dos. Am I doing something wrong?

It opens DOS/Command Prompt & after a minute it should tell you that it created a file in say C:/........./debug log .txt

Also for the future please change your dump log setting via:
Right click My Computer then click Properties then Advanced then Startup and Recovery | Settings:
    Write debugging information:
    change to Complete memory dump.

The partial log that was started was triggered by your Kodak Easyshare software.

What was your RAM change? Are you using all new? Are you mixing old & new?
Is it all the same brand? Speed? Do the errors cease if you revert to your old RAM?

My RAM change was I added 256 mb. I had 256. I don't believe they are the same brand. I am not sure though. I have a dell and then I ordered the new RAM off of Ebay. Should I take out the new RAM and see if I still have the problems?

    Yes.

That would be a good test. Note the labels for make & model etc.

Or if you can still boot the machine you can try this scan to ID the sticks:

That was with just one stick installed?

Do things work OK with the one stick?

If you can scan with both sticks installed note the difference in the description between DIMM 1 & DIMM 2
