    16 bit windows subsystem

I have just installed Windows XP and have found that MYOB Ver10 does not work even after reinstalling MYOB. The error message comes up with the following:- C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'CLOSE' to terminate the application. Even clicking ignore, nothing happens.
What do I have to do to make the program work.
    Thanks
    Ross

You might try running thru the Program Compatibility Wizard.

Start | All Programs | Accessories | Program Compatibility Wizard

Also depending on how you just installed Windows XP ...

You may need to completly uninstall MYOB before attempting to re-install.

Have also tried the Program Compatibilty Wizard using all the offered options and still cannot fix the problem.
I again tried the Resolutions shown in article 324767 and this wouldnt work again either, I did not that when carrying out step 4 (expand D:\i386\config.nt_c:\windows\system32\config.nt) it does say 'destination not specified'. This is the same message for the autoexec.nt and the command.com
Also when trying step 15 right click %SYSTEMROOT%\System32 folder, where do I actually find that folder?
    Thanks

Just to verify: note the space between expand CD-ROM Drive Letter:\i386\config.nt_
    & c:\windows\system32\config.nt

    expand CD-ROM Drive Letter:\i386\config.nt_ c:\windows\system32\config.nt

Also %SYSTEMROOT% is just a wildcard for the location of your system files.

    Probably C:\Windows\... or C:\WINNT\...

    Thanks heaps,
It was just the incorrect typing without leaving the gap between the _ and the C:
    Thanks again
