    Sound Problems

    As a consequence of my computer crashing, I've had to re-install windows on my computer. Since I could not find the original CD from Packard Bell, I downloaded an individual Windows XP CD, which leaves me without some of the Packard Bell accessories.

    I went to the website and searched by serial no - I downloaded the drivers etc., but to no avail. I still have no sound. I've checked all the volume settings and I do get a speaker icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

    My serial no is 010951620551

    Can anybody advise me on what to do next?

    1) click this link: http://support.packardbell.com/uk/download/
    2) Select your desktop/laptop model
    3) Under "Downloads" in option 1 select Drivers and in section 2 select sound
    (as shown in pic below)
    4) Click ok
    5) download the correct audio driver for your system
