Had Autocad 2002 installed on my computer and it also uses .scr extensions. Since uninstalling it all my screensavers have the generic icon. Usually if I double clicked one it would start the screensaver, now it says, what to open with? I cant find the file association listed. Running XP SP1.

Jephree, you're a genius. Fixed. So I wonder what will happen if I installed that program again and then ran the regfix, would it muck up Autocad?

Did your screensavers work OK with AutoCad installed?

If AutoCad uses that association for other purposes there might be some conflict.

If it's an important enough question we could initiate research.

Yes they still worked, just had a screensaver shortcut that I'd click while I was away from the computer. With Autocad installed, it wouldnt work until the timer kicked the screensaver on.
I'm not that worried about it, just like everything as it should be. LOL
