What mode is my graphics card running in?
One of my games tells me that my graphics card is running in PCI mode. I think I may have fixed this problem, but I need to find out if I have.
Is there anywhere that does a diagnostics on graphics cards?

Start/Run/ dxdiag | Display
What type of card do you have PCI or AGP?
These settings are usually in the BIOS setup.

I appologise, I have an AGP8x, which is what caused my concern. I have looked everywhere and I don't know how to tell what mode it's running in as it does not explicitly say "This card is in AGP mode", which it should, for user friendlyness sake!!

Under dxdiag do you have AGP Texture Acceleration?
There is usually a setting in the BIOS setup for:
on-board
PCI
AGP

The bios does not have the AGP/PCI thingy, but dxdiag does say that it has AGP Texture acceleration, I assume this means it is AGP mode.
Thanks for your help

I would assume the same.
Do you still get the game error?
Is it just one particular game?
