Local Area connection a network cable unplugged

    Angry Local Area connection a network cable unplugged

    I am currently using Windows xp and my internet supplier is AOL broadband.I keep getting a message on my tool bar saying LOCAL AREA CONNECTION A NETWORK CABLE UNPLUGGED and my internet freezes.I have tried re-installing windows and the broadband disc but nothing has changed Can anybody help please?

    Are you on a network?

    Thanx for the reply but if i disable it,the internet won,t work because it is connected to my modem. Thanx anyway

    have u tried calling aol (1 888 418 5320) and get some tech support to correct the prob.. thats what i did
