XP Laptop Upgrade
I have upgraded my OS to a fresh windows XP on my PCG-FX390K Sony Laptop, and installed all the Sony drivers that Sony had on their web site, but I still dont have the DVD program that came with the Windows 2000 and the functional buttons on the key board dont work. Can you tell me where I can get the drivers for those items.

I replace the Hard drive on my PCG-FX390K Sony laptop and installed a fresh copy of XP on and installed all the new drivers that sony had on their web site, but i still dont have the DVD program with DVD codes and the functional keys dont work either.

I still have the old hard drive with all the programs on it and it still functions well.
-
I was hoping that I could extract the drivers for these from the old hard drive.

Did you get everything here?

As far as retrieving data from the other drive you can do so with the following adapter:

Old programs may not be transferable as the program files & registry entries are scattered & the setup was propably a temporary file.
Drivers as well are not easy to extract, but the Sony link should have all the drivers.
If you just need a codec pack for XP this is a good one:
