well, about 3 days ago, while i was sleeping, my friend got online and surfed pornographic material that he shouldnt have....anyway, these icons about drugs, porn, and celebrities pop up on my computer...and now my comp wont let me do anything but play Diablo II(Game) and let me access the internet. Where can i get a good virus program that is completely free and that can get rid of this problem???

Please follow owen's Instructions and then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section. (Not in this section please).

As far as a free AV: http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/us/tpl/tpl01
This will help in the future but is not a cleanup.
You should also have the SP2 firewall if not a 3rd party wall.

Be careful that you you dont have any diallers active whilst you are connected to the net!!
