when I try to close windows XP I get a message that tells me that:

END PROGRAM Jane MH32.EXE

When I searched for the file I tried to delete it butI was refused access
Can anyone tell me what this file is and how I can close it down?

Hit Start Button and then select Run, type msconfig then hit Return. Now look under the Startup Tab and see if MH32.EXE appears there....

Looked in msconfig but could not see file.

where else could it be? elusive eh!

hmmm, ok before you shutdown hit CTRL + ALT + DEL on the keyboard and see if that process (MH32) is running, never heard of it before!
