    tmp files

Is it safe to delete all files with the .tmp suffix? I have quite a few in a Windows folder named temp, but some are named dir, which I know is a directory file. What can I safely do to clean things up and get the most out of the machine.

Yes, it is safe to delete all .tmp files.

A really good program that will clean all your files for you is ccleaner, which you can get it here for Free: http://www.ccleaner.com/

Thanks! Went to find and threw out all those tmp's and then went to Recycle Bin and could not hoist em from there. Downloaded Ccleaner and it did the job. Thanks!
