What is the make & model of your motherboard?

    This scan will tell you:

    http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

What is under Main Circuit Board?

    Also:

Also view your Error Log via:
    [1] Start Menu
    [2] Help and Support
    [3] Pick a Task
    [4] Tools
    [5] Advanced System Information
    [6] View the Error Log

    Also:

Go to start | search (type in) .dmp
Note the location of your latest .dmp file.

    Then:

    1) Download and install the
    Debugging Tools from Microsoft
    2) Download and install this
    debugwiz
    3) Open the Wiz & Browse to, or paste in the path to, your latest .dmp file.
    4) After the Wiz creates a Text document attach it back to this thread.

Check the Device Manager: RT click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager or go to start/run/ devmgmt.msc for any "!" next to Universal Serial Bus Controllers.

This seems to be an USB issue.

Can you further ID your board from this list:

    P4P800 Deluxe ... P4P800 ... P4P800 SE ... P4P800-E Deluxe
    P4P800-X ... P4P800-VM ... P4P800S ... P4P800S-E Deluxe
    P4P800S SE ... P4P800S-X ... P4P800-MX

Here is the ASUS Download page. You need to go thru the navigation to your board. Although in general XP uses its' own USB drivers I did notice some from ASUS under the Utilities listing. Perhaps that may help.

Also a full dump log would help. Just pick the most recent. What you posted above was just the intro. You need to follow all those steps: yes.
