After removing the media player I checked all files and folders and asked for all files containing the word winap.I then got a great list.Some of which were as follows.
drwstn32 - 19,483Kb text doc.(this seems to have been identified by Dr.Watson as dangerous).
description - 63 Kb.this appeared to be identified by Ad Aware as a Hijacker.
then two ad aware logs.
there were a number of entries for migapp and for migwizz mostly 155kb or 5kb.these appeared to be in service pack files ,system files or software distribution files.
Spuninst which is in C\WINDOWS\$M131 Uninstall and WHATS NEW which is in C:\Program files\WinZip.
This is all a bit beyond me and I am reluctant to delete or otherwise interfere with these entries without assistanceas they may be involved in other programmes or may actually be protections against some nasties.
Please what do I do next?

If you removed all files that were exactly winamp & then ran your RegSeeker you should be set.

Also run AdAware & your virus scanner regularly.

All the files you mentioned above are legit Windows files with the exception of the "What's New" in WinZip which I am guessing is an updater for WinZip.

drwtsn32 is your Dr Watson error log although it has been occassionally linked to hijacking when its' location has been changed. If AdAware has signaled it out I would let AdAware take it out.

migapp; migwiz; spuninst are all legit.
