windows xp home edition repair
I did a windows repair today so that maybe I could solve the ks.sys file BSOD error. I guess I really did a mess of it because now I cannot find my video card on the device messenger. Also my HTTP and the microsoft system management bios driver show an exclamation mark beside them. Now my system is just windows xp with no service pack. When I was doing the repair a message said that the VIAAGP1.sys on VIAAGP filter driver is needed and I just said ignore because I did not know what to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated

I'd focus on getting your system upgraded to Service Pack 2 immediately for Security Reasons and then focus on the drivers afterwards unless you are unable to use your system without the drivers. You can get Service Pack 2 from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

i did a windows xp repair and when it was all done and i went to check my device manager the display adapter was gone from the list. I have a geforce3Ti 200. Also the HTTP non-plug and Play has an exclamation beside it and I downloaded the BITS update and it did not fix it. another exclamation is showing beside the microsoft system management BIOS driver.when i go into direct x the ddraw.dll, d3d8.dll and d3dim700.dll it says that these files are an old version and i should install direct x 9.0c which i have. I know I made a mistake not backing up my video card and am i ever sorry for this mess i created but i would really appreciate it if anyone can help with this mess i made
