Hello again,

Still trying to work out this problem. Still can't use the machine properly at all, I'm hoping that the answer will be swift. It was definately something which I was able to change via some sort of start up option. This might be a good time to warn everyone about only using tweaks when you know the outcome & how to turn them off again. Talk about learning the hard way. Please help, I'm loosing the plot with this. Thanks, I'm sure if we work together it can be solved.

Try using system restore to choose a date before you made the changes.
