Help I need to find a Recovery Disk

In my move to my new home, I have lost my recovery disk for my:

    Powerspec 9320

Someone has trashed my operating system on my PC, and now I am dead in the water, and Powerspec.com no longer stocks the recovery disk for my model. Where would be a good place to ask on the net if anyone has a recovery disk for the 9320?

    thanks for your help.

If you do not have a newsreader you can sign up thru that google link.

Whereas a newsreader is basically instantaneous; google is on like a 12 hr. delay.

Also you can attempt basic repairs via this method:

Try the 6 floppy setup disks to enter the Recovery Console.

The first thing to try is chkdsk

If that doesn't help try some of the other options listed in the links.

Powerspec no longer stocks the recovery disks for the 9320 I spend quite awhile on the phone talking to them.

a "friend" tried re-installing xp on my system and messed up my pc.

So I will need the recovery disk to get my system back to normal, and to be able to use my xp serial# from powerspec.... that is why I need to find the recovery disk for the powerspec 9320.

Here is the link for information from powerspec on the 9320 http://www.powerspec.com/support/sup...selection=9320

it seems to have all the drivers, etc that you need. I am surprised that powerspec doesn't have any recovery disks, since they had XP for the system. Did you try asking them exactly what was on the recovery disk? Normally the recovery disk has the drivers, and a copy of XP, and I would imagine that you could, with your serial number get another made from them, or at least a new copy of your original Windows OS.

Have you done a system restore? that should help as well.

The Powerspec recovery CD has xp on it. Fred at Powerspec told me that they have to pay MS every time they have the CD's made, and they will no longer be getting the 9320 recovery cd in.

I think my XP Serial # is braded to the OEM of powerspec, I am not sure if the # will work with a generic oem version of XP Pro full.

I was hoping to find someone that has the 9320 disk they could burn for me.
