.Reg Seeker deletions Re Appear - Help

From a question on another post I was reccomended to try Reg Seeker.
I downloaded this tool and ran it and it found 326 orphan or unused entries. I first deleted all the green entries and after perusal the yellow ones.I then looked carefully at the red entries and deleted those I thought to be safe.
The next day just to see the position I ran reg Seeker again and it came up with 326 entries.which were predominantly the same as the day before, which I thought I had deleted.
Is this system restore at work (I run windows XP Home?)Whatever the reason what do I do to see that the entries reg Seeker identifies are properly deleted?

Can you verify the cleaner you are using?

Are you sure it is RegSeeker?

My version doesn't have the color scheme but I know that that is a feature used by RegSupreme (JV16 Power Tools)

System Restore should have nothing to do with it.
Although the deleted entries should have been placed in a backup file within the Program.

My first guess is perhaps you downloaded a trial version which will Find but not Delete?

Have now checked everything and it is Reg Seeker I have.
Have run Reg seeker again and deleted just about everything.I then re started the computer and ran it again when it found a few more entries but didn't restore to the beginning again.
I then went in to the backups and found the back up for the original scan and deleted it since I now had further back ups.
Subsequent boot ups and shut downs have not caused the re appearance of deleted entries.
The only explanation I feel might account for what happened was that shortly after the original deletions I got a message on the screen that my settings had been changed and that this could make me vunerable. It asked whether I wished to return to my original settings and I clicked yes.I believe that this message was from Microsoft beta anti spyware which I am running on my computer.Maybe this is the answer but we will never know. The prescence of a back up to the original deletions indicates that everything was originally done correctly.
    Would welcome your comments.

Sounds like you are all set.

I downloaded the latest RegSeeker & now see the colors!

Your idea seems solid: any change in the registry will be noted by Microsofts' Program.

Let us know if we can help further.
