    Angry Slow Broadband!!!

    My broadband i very slow and i dont no why
    I uninstalled my anti-virus and firewall and tested and it didnt help a bit
    im not using kaaza, im only using Shareaza and its a (clean) program.
    Can someone help me??

    i got windows XP and non of the service packs becuse cant download them.
    my Internet Service Provider is tele2(i live in sweden) and i got radiolink.
    i use an antenn to connect but i got a good connection and i check it up with the company so it was good connection. So i should have a fast connection.

    ok, you need to elaborate a bit more. when you connect, what does the connection notification say?? also, what is your typical download speed and upload speed (go and download some sort of trial application like real media, and just note the speeds, you dont have to actually download it)

    my download speed is on 80kb/s in 5sec and then it goes down to like 5 and under.
    what do you mean by elaborate and "connection notification say??"???
    my english isnt very good so please explain better.

    To see what speed you are connected, click on the little icon in your notification area (bottom-right of monitor) and it should say 'Connected At xxxkbps'. What is this value??
    If you dont have the icon, Go CONTROL PANEL>NETWORK CONNECTIONS, then right-lick over your Broadband connection, and click 'Status'. In the 'Connection' pane, you will see 'Speed: xxxkbps'
    What is your connected speed??
    It may also be good to download an apllication that will tell you exactly which applications are using your bandwidth, and how much bandwidth each application is using.

    Myabe someone else can help you, as im slightly miffed.

    As for bandwidth montior applications, i cant recommend any as Im not certain of your set-up.

    You should try to use TCPoptimizer.exe is freeware and it will help you on the setup of your MTU port. Try find it on a google search.
