i have just installed everest system scanner and let it run it told me that my bios is more than two years old how can i find it on my pc so i can update it also is this potetionaly a difficult job

Unless you have a specific problem that you are trying to resolve, I would strongly advise that you don't update your BIOS, particularly if you aren't experienced with how to use it or what it does. If you get the BIOS update wrong, you will be potentially looking at throwing the motherboard away and having to get a new one fitted. If you pay Packard Bell to do that, you would be talking big money.
Most PCs never get their BIOS updated. It's not something that you should want to do regularly.
I'm an experienced system builder and I use the BIOS all the time but I would only apply a BIOS update as a last resort.

I agree 100 %, if something bad happens during a bios flash you will end up with a very expensive paper weight
