Hi,
Mad problem. Somewhere in this system I changed a boot up option, whitch allowed me to see the affects of booting up in lilac. Trouble is I've forgotten where the option was. I can hardley read any text or see any normal colours. Thus I can't use the PC effectively at all. Can anyone help. Had this going on now for over two or three months. Need help quickly.

Bear, also searched all the registry, files & folders to no avail. SP 2 also running. Just cannot find it anywhere. As I have just started typing this to you, the whole screen is flickering, as if trying to escape the lilac effect. switching between the lilac/white backgrounds. Really hope you can crack this for me I'm at a loss. Thanks for your time.

Are you sure that you changed a system setting? Sounds much more like a faulty monitor or graphics card to me.

...... unless you mean that you installed a different driver 2 or 3 months ago?
